Noah Schnapp Forced the Duffer Brothers to Add a Scene in Stranger Things 5
Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has revealed that he personally asked the Duffer Brothers to include a specific scene in the upcoming final season.
The production for season 5 officially began in January 2024 and continued throughout the year. It is already confirmed that Will Byers will take the center stage in the final installment. Shnapp’s recent comments have now provided some new insights, sparking speculations among the fans.
Noah Schnapp Forced the Creators To Include a Scene
Noah Schnapp recently attended the Comic Con in Argentina. During the event, the actor also talked about Stranger Things 5 and many fans are sharing the clips on X (formerly Twitter). When asked whether he had any creative input during filming, Schnapp shared:
Yeah, like in the script — there’s a scene that you’ll see eventually. There’s a scene in season 5 that I actually had the Duffer Brothers write for Will Byers because that wasn’t in it before. And I you you’ll see it when it comes.
He also teased an emotionally tense moment from the new season, revealing that it was the most difficult scene to film throughout Stranger Things.
Well, the most difficult scene would have to be in season five. There’s a scene that’s the hardest for Will Byers. That would probably be a spoiler, though. You’ll see it when it’s done
Schnapp went on to talk about Will’s emotional journey and his complicated relationship with Mike Wheeler.
I think Will is struggling with growing up. I think, first of all, being kidnapped to the Upside Down makes it a lot harder for him to grow up with them. He is suffering from literal trauma. And so all his friends are growing up quicker than him, finding girlfriends and he’s starting to realize that maybe he feels a little bit different. And he wants to just stay as a kid forever and they want to grow up. Then Will, you know, has these feelings that are starting to brew and he doesn’t know who he is or what he wants. And he doesn’t know how to communicate that with Mike. Their friendship starts to split up a little bit because of the way they grow up.
Is the Specific Scene about Byler?
The latest revelation by Noah Schnapp has sent fans into a frenzy. Many are speculating about the mysterious scene he fought to include. Some users are suggesting that this scene might be about Will Byers coming out to a specific person. Others are hoping that it ties into the Byler storyline, and are theorizing about a potential kiss scene in the final season.
Earlier, Shawn Levy also teased an emotional Byler scene in Stranger Things 5. A fan asked the director on Twitter to include the Byler scene in season 5. He replied with a hand emoji.
hi @ShawnLevyDirect (we all know you're here) so pretty please give us an angsty, emotional and tense byler scene like this again in s5 pic.twitter.com/hPIe08sjyn
