CMON has announced a board game based on the Netflix big hit stranger Things. Earlier this week, CMON Games revealed that it would release Stranger Things: The Upside Down in 2023. The game is designed by Rob Daviau, the designer behind Pandemic: Legacy, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Return to Dark Tower.

Stranger Things: The Upside Down is a cooperative game in which players try to save Hawkins from the Upside Down. During the video announcement of the game, Daviau said that the Duffer Brothers had played the new game. More details about the Stranger Things game will be released next year.

There are several other Stranger Things board games that have come out this year, thanks to the popularity of season 4. Earlier a Stranger Things Monopoly was released drawing some criticism for spoiling key elements of the season.
