Finn Wolfhard Finally Chooses Between Mileven and Byler
With Stranger Things set to conclude with season 5, the shipping war in the fandom has intensified. One of the biggest debates is whether Mike Wheeler should end up with Eleven (Mileven) or Will Byers (Byler). Now, Finn Wolfhard has weighed in on the discussion, sharing his thoughts on which pairing he prefers.
For those who are not familiar, shipping is the desire by fans for fictional or real-life people to be in a relationship. While Mileven represents the relationship between Mike Wheeler and Eleven, Byler refers to the romantic pairing of Mike and Will Byers getting together.
Finn Wolfhard Says He Prefers Mileven Over Byler
The debate over the show’s “endgame” couple has sparked endless discussions among Stranger Things fans and even the cast has occasionally shared their thoughts. Finn Wolfhard recently addressed the topic revealing he prefers Mileven over Byler.
Wolfhard attended the People Convention in Paris along with other cast members from Stranger Things. During a Q&A session, he was asked to choose between Byler and Mileven. He said,
“You know, to me, I usually let the fans decide on what they like more. I mean, I know Byler has been very popular. Yeah, I don’t know. I guess because of how it started at the beginning, I guess I would say Mileven.

Noah Schnapp Shares His Opinion on Stranger Things 5
During the same convention, Noah Schnapp also reflected on the upcoming final season of Stranger Things. When asked to describe season 5 in three words, he said:
“Sad, Sweet, and Shocking.”
Schnapp also opened up about the emotional final day on set.
“It was very sad I was heartbroken I was devastated. It was really hard to say goodbye. It was the perfect way to end it and you guys will be very happy with it.”
In addition to the emotional farewell, the actor admitted that he has taken a lot of things from the Stranger Things set, including the Castle Byers sign and the Will Byers’ iconic painting from season 4.
David Harbour Previously Shut Down Byler Hopes
Finn Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp are not the only cast members to have addressed the shipping debate. Last year, David Harbour (Jim Hopper) commented that Byler will not happen in Stranger Things 5.
“I don’t think there is a turn in Mike. Mike’s, you know, proclivity is pretty clear—he seems to love Eleven. So, I’m sorry for all of you… what do you call them? Byler? I don’t know if your ship is going to sail.”
