In a recent interview with Screen Rant, the actress revealed insights into the unbelievable season 5. She said,

“There’s not much I can tease, but I know everybody’s super excited. I just think if you’ve loved the seasons before, you trust the Duffers. They’re geniuses, and they’ll bring it like no other. And from what I’ve read, it is unbelievable, and I’m so excited for people to see it.”

Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger with the dramatic merging of Hawkins and the Upside Down. The pivotal final shot centered on Eleven, hinting at her central role in the last season. It’s expected that she will be crucial in defeating the ultimate villain, Vecna.

Millie Bobby Brown has also shed light on the fate of her character in season 5. In an interview with Capital FM, she revealed that she knows the outcome of her character’s journey in Stranger Things.

“I haven’t read the end. I know what happens to my character because I kind of forced myself into the writers room. Basically, I messaged the directors: ‘Can I come over and have a meeting with you?’. And then I came over, and there was a whiteboard. I just saw my ending and thought, Ohhhhh, and then I walked away very slowly.”

Brown’s remarks have made fans speculating about the fate of her character. Many users shared their concerns that her character may not have a happy ending in the final season.

Earlier Millie Bobby Brown revealed that the filming will continue for another nine months. The actress appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show and provided an update on the production of season 5. She said,

“We have nine months left… I really like Netflix, I’d like to be employed by them for a really long time, because I sign a piece of paper that tells me I’m not allowed to say anything, and I think I owe it to them to keep my mouth shut… I know what happens to my character. I haven’t read the script because they are in the process of writing them. I think I read up to episode 6. I know what happens to my character…. But like I said, I like working for Netflix, I’m going to be a good girl.”

Filming for the final season is scheduled to conclude in December 2024. Then there will be extensive post-production work, which will also consume a considerable amount of time. At this stage, fans can anticipate the final season to potentially be released towards the end of 2025.
