In the wake of their engagement announcement, media speculations arose regarding Millie’s pregnancy. The 19-year-old actress has now clarified that she herself was responsible for the rumors, attributing them to a misinterpretation involving a baby sheep.

Millie shared the amusing story during her appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna. She humorously recounted, “There was someone I know in my neighborhood, their sheep had babies. I was like ‘OK, I’ll take one.’ Took one and then I was like ‘Oh, I can’t put this thing outside. He’s a baby. He needs me,’” she explained.

The actress went on to share that she went as far as buying a stroller and diapers for the lamb so that it could sleep beside her at night. However, her unique purchases did not escape the notice of people in her community. “People thought I was pregnant. So, there was like neighborhood gossip, ‘Millie’s pregnant, she’s not told anyone!’”

Despite the false pregnancy rumors, Millie did reveal her future plans of having a baby. In a recent feature on the cover of Glamour UK, she opened up about her aspirations to become a mom in an interview.

“My dream was to have a baby,” she confessed, revealing that she always knew that she wanted children. “I wanted to be the woman that my mom is to me, and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me,” she added.

Explaining why she was keeping her wedding planning private, she said: “Just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me. So, I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.”
