Stranger Things Star Millie Bobby Brown Has Become a Mother
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is now a mom.
The actor and her husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed their baby together via adoption. She announced the news on Instagram today by sharing a post.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
The news comes 15 months after the actress married Bongiovi, son of rock singer Jon Bon Jovi.
Millie previously shared that she had plans to follow in her own mother Kelly Brown’s footsteps by becoming a parent early. She told Smartless;
“I’m still really young. But my mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like ‘Baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
The adoption was on Millie’s mind already as she stated in the interview.
“For me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything. So that’s kind of where we’re at. We’re wanting to start a family and it doesn’t matter in what way or when, but it will happen for sure.”
