Brand new photos from the sets of Stranger Things have been released, giving fans a sneak peek of what to expect in the final season.

The long-awaited season 5 of Stranger Things has been in production since January 2024. The creators are accelerating the pace to complete the season as soon as possible. The Netflix boss has confirmed that the final season will arrive in 2025.

Stranger Things Season 5 New Photos

Since the production began, there have been numerous leaks from the sets. The new photos feature Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) and Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) riding their bikes. They are joined this time by Mike’s younger sister, Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher).

The characters are seen cycling through the streets of Hawkins. Check out the pictures below for a glimpse of the action.

Will Holly Wheeler Disappear in Season 5?

Holly Wheeler did not have much of an action in the earlier seasons. But previous set photos have already teased that she will have a much bigger role in the final season.

The leaked photos from last month showed Holly Wheeler with Henry Creel aka Vecna. This could mean a potential tragedy for the Wheeler family. It aligns with the rumor that Episode 2 is titled “The Vanishing of [Blank] Wheeler.”

Netflix recently released a special video from the sets featuring glimpses of season 5. The clip shows Holly Wheeler in her room, suddenly terrified by something.

In season 5, Holly Wheeler will be played by Nell Fisher replacing the original actress. With Holly’s expanded role in the new season, a more experienced actress has been cast. Nell Fisher is known for her prominent role in Evil Dead Rise.

Mike Wheeler and Will Byers Storyline in Season 5

Season 4 confirmed that Will Byers is gay and is romantically attracted to Mike Wheeler. Fans are hoping that Will will finally confess his true feelings to Mike in the final season. The Byler storyline could play a significant role in season 5.

The new set of photos suggests that Will and Mike will spend a lot of time together. According to one theory, the two will venture into the Upside Down, where Will might confess his love for Mike.

Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how their storyline unfolds in the final season.
