Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has ventured into directing, making his debut with the upcoming horror-comedy Hell of a Summer.
Before reprising his role in Stranger Things season 5 combating Vecna, Wolfhard is going to face a completely different demo in his latest venture. Neon has released the first trailer for Hell of a Summer, directed by Finn Wolfhard and his friend Billy Bryk (When You Finish Saving the World). He also stars in the film along with Fred Hechinger and Pardis Saremi.
Hell of a Story Synopsis
The movie follows the story of Jason Hochberg (Hechinger), a 24-year-old camp counselor who starts his summer job at Camp Pineway. He feels that it would be tough fitting in with his much younger, teenage co-workers. However, his worries quickly take a backseat when a masked killer begins prowling the campgrounds, brutally murdering the counselors one by one. What starts as a typical summer job turns into a fight for survival while uncovering the dark secrets behind the killer’s rampage
