Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 will release tomorrow. The Duffer Brothers and Noah Schnapp have all hinted that there will be major character deaths in Volume 2. Now in an interview with Teen Vogue, Gaten Matarazzo also talked about the rumors.
Gaten said that we will get a lot of answers in volume 2 as the first part left fans with lots of confusion and uncertainty. He also revealed that no one is safe in the last two episodes, “I think the scariest part about this [season] is truly how in danger these characters feel,” Gaten says with severity. “Everybody's always in danger in this show. That's kind of the point of the show, is we're on edge all of the time, but this season has always given the vibe that not everybody we would assume is safe is necessarily continuously going to be… the stakes are really high.”
When asked to comment on Noah's remarks, the actor said that a number of characters will die in the first few minutes. "It seems outlandish. But you never know with the show.”
It's unclear if the actor was joking or not. But one thing is clear there will be some characters' deaths in volume 2 which will air on July 1.
