Sadie Sink Reflects on Difficult End to Stranger Things
Sadie Sink has admitted that it was difficult to say goodbye to Stranger Things, a show that marked her breakthrough.
Filming for Stranger Things season 5 wrapped up last December and Netflix is expected to release the much-anticipated final season later this year. Sadie Sink, who plays Max in Stranger Things, found it deeply emotional to bring the series to an end.

The actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night. During the show, she also talked about wrapping up Stranger Things season 5.
“It was really hard. It was really difficult to say goodbye. It’s been eight years for me, I think ten years for the whole show. But I don’t know, we grew up on it, grew up with each other, like our audience grew up watching us and I don’t know.”
When Jimmy Fallon asked if she had taken home anything from the Stranger Things set, Sadie Sink admitted that she took a lot.
“Well, just like the essentials, you know. I needed Max’s skateboard, which that was actually gifted to me, the skateboard, cool. I’ve got some Walkmans, some Kate Bush cassette and some vans and stuff. Like, every shoe that she’s worn.”
She also joked that her home is becoming a “little museum” of Stranger Things and she needed to be “careful” because her space was slowly growing more crowded.
The final installment of Stranger Things is expected to be released in 2025. However, the Duffer Brothers have recently revealed that it would be challenging to release season 5 this year. The same sentiments were shared by Netflix CCO who refused to comment on the Stranger Things 5 release plan.
