The wait is almost over! The much-anticipated Stranger Things season 5 teaser is finally on the horizon. We now have exciting new details that are sure to excite the fans.

Recently, it was announced that Stranger Things will be part of Netflix’s upcoming event TUDUM, scheduled for May 31, 2025. While the streaming giant initially kept the reveals under wraps, it has now been confirmed that the first promo will debut during the TUDUM.

Stranger Things Season 5 Teaser Details

With just 4 days left to go, fans are eagerly awaiting the first major updates on Stranger Things season 5. But what exactly should we expect from the TUDUM showcase?

According to the reports, Netflix plans to release a lengthy teaser trailer during the event. While the exact content remains under wraps, a source has revealed that the teaser will likely feature Eleven going missing, a glimpse of a young Will Byers trapped in the Upside Down and a touching moment between Mike and Eleven that fans won’t want to miss.

Additionally, we might catch some shots from the footage shown to journalists back in January. One standout moment reportedly features Vecna’s chilling voice whispering to Will Byers: “We are going to build such beautiful things, Will.” The promo is also expected to feature appearances by Holly Wheeler and new cast member Linda Hamilton.

Stranger Things 5 Release Date Reveal

Alongside the teaser, Netflix will also announce the release dates for Stranger Things 5. Reportedly, it will be split into two volumes with release dates tentatively set for October 10 and November 27. Last week, there was a rumour claiming that Netflix is planning to divide Stranger Things 5 into three parts, releasing them through 2026. However, the authenticity of that report could not be verified.

In addition, fans can look forward to exclusive posters and new promotional material. Stranger Things cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin will be present at the event during the reveals. Unfortunately, Sadie Sink will not be attending due to scheduling conflicts.

Also, don’t expect a full trailer just yet, as Netflix will only release the teaser for now. A full-length trailer for Volume 1 will be released closer to the official release.

Although the tickets for the TUDUM event are already sold out, you can still watch it live on Netflix on Saturday, May 31, at  5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET.
