Stranger Things Season 5 Has Officially Wrapped
It’s a wrap for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
Netflix has announced that the production of Stranger Things season 5 has been completed. While the release date has yet to be revealed, it has been confirmed that the highly anticipated final season will arrive in 2025. To celebrate the milestone, Netflix has shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
Stranger Things Season 5 Has Wrapped
The production of season 5 began in January 2024 and continued for nearly a year. The official announcement came today while the filming finished on December 18, 2024.
Netflix made the announcement on X writing, “That’s a wrap on ‘Stranger Things’. See you in 2025.”

Stranger Things Season 5 Wrap-Up Party
Last week, the Stranger Things cast and crew celebrated with a wrap-up party. Stars like Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe Keery and others were in attendance. Notable absent was Millie Bobby Brown who was in New York for a family event.
Although most of the actors completed their scenes last week, the production continued till Wednesday. Interestingly, Noah Schnapp was the last cast member to film a scene for Stranger Things season 5.
