For Stranger Things fans, the journey is almost over. The cast and crew recently gathered for a Season 5 wrap-up party on Saturday evening, signaling the beginning of the end for the beloved series.

The production for Stranger Things season 5 kicked off in January 2024 and has been a relatively smooth ride. After filming for almost a year, the cast is now saying farewell to the camera as the series transitions into post-production.

Stranger Things Season 5 Wrap-Up Party

The Stranger Things cast marked the end of filming with a wrap-up party in Atlanta yesterday. Stars like Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton attended the party.

The original plan was to wrap filming on Friday however it was cancelled due to bad weather in Atlanta. Filming will now officially conclude next week with only a handful of scenes left to shoot.

Most of the cast has already completed their work on the season, leaving just a few remaining actors to finish up which will take a couple of days. It is safe to say that Stranger Things 5 will be wrapped up before December 20, 2024.

One notable absence at the Atlanta party was Millie Bobby Brown. The actress was spotted in New York, attending the NY Rangers vs. LA Kings game at Madison Square Garden. Reports suggest that Brown has already finished filming her scenes for Season 5, as she’s now sporting a fresh new hairstyle.

Netflix is likely to make an official announcement about the season 5 wrap-up in the coming days. Fans might also get an early Christmas gift in the form of a new promo or teaser for Stranger Things 5.
