The much-awaited fourth season of Stranger Things has arrived on Netflix and the question everyone is asking is, did they just confirm Will Byers is gay?
A lot of fans who have suspected Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) is gay feel like the latest season of Stranger Things has almost confirmed it.
In Season 4, viewers seem to be getting even more hints that Will has a crush on his best friend, Mike. At the start when we saw Will, Eleven is writing a letter to Mike and says that Will is painting a lot and that maybe it was for a girl he likes. But we see Will taking the painting everywhere he goes with Mike. Another hint that points to Will being gay is the science project we see him carrying in episode one. Will’s project is on Alan Turing, the mathematician who was prosecuted by the British court for being gay.

Also in the fifth episode, Will tells Mike about how hard it can be to speak your truth, saying, “Sometimes I think it’s scary to just open up like that. To say how you really feel. Especially to people, you care about the most. Because what if… what if they don’t like the truth?

In S.3 E.3, Mike said it's not my fault you don't like girls.
They’ve been hinting at it since season ONE! 🤦🏻♀️ Calling him sensitive, a fairy, etc. Will calls himself a freak to his brother because he’s not “normal.” Mike tells him in season 3 it’s not my fault you don’t like girls.” Can’t get more obvious than that. I mean come on people. 🤦🏻♀️ Also, SO WHAT IF HE’S GAY?!
I totally agree Will is more than likely gay and struggling with that. But i took what Mike said in season 3 more in the vein of "It's not my fault you don't like girls" *yet*.
Otherwise Mike would have to suspect Will was gay, and i don't get that vibe from the character AT ALL.
It's more like, Lucas has a girlfriend, I have a girlfriend, Dustin has a girlfriend, it's not our fault you haven't found one of your own.
