Unlike most high schoolers his age, Noah Schnapp doesn’t technically need a summer job to pay for his expenses. However, Schnapp has revealed that he has taken a temporary summer gig as a lifeguard just like any other teenager anyway.
The actor told Flaunt, “It’s kind of a ‘just for fun’ thing.” According to Schnapp, who stars in one of the biggest shows ever on Netflix, he tries to keep his life outside of Stranger Things low-key. “I’ve kind of grown up with a normal life and normal friends and stuff outside of Stranger Things,” he said. “So it’s kind of kept me grounded.”
If you want proof that Schnapp really works as a lifeguard, there’s a TikTok video in which teen actor is dancing in a lifeguard’s uniform of red trunks with a lanyard around his neck.
Noah Schnapp has been enrolled into The University of Pennsylvania. He talked about deciding on his major.
“I was thinking of going for acting,” but he’ll attend the private Ivy League’s business school. “Acting was just kind of repetitive, and I wanted to try something new,” he says. “Millie [Bobby Brown] is doing the same thing with her schooling—she’s kind of learning about other things. I thought it would make more sense to do something different. And business was a pretty clear next thing for me. ”
